MoU signed between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan and Sichuan Agriculture University of China

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Pakistan and Sichuan Agriculture University of China for cooperation and collaboration in research activities and faculty exchange. The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Prof. Chen Daiwen, Vice President, Sichuan Agriculture University of China. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob described the memorandum of understanding as a historic document for progress in teaching and research between the two universities promoting joint research projects and mutual exchange at the faculty and student level. The two universities agreed to set up a China-Pakistan Crop Research Center to conduct research on high quality and high yielding crops. As many as 20 to 25 scholars from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur will study at Sichuan Agriculture University on scholarships. Under the exchange program, teachers and students of both the universities will visit each other and conduct teaching and research activities. Both the universities will hold joint conferences and training workshops and publish research journals. On the occasion, Dr. Muhammad Ali Raza, Post-Doctor, College of Agronomy, Sichuan Agricultural University, was lauded for his services in promoting links between the two universities for the promotion of strip intercropping technology. Prof. Yang Wenyu, Former Vice President, Professor, College of Agronomy, Prof. Xia Xinrong, Director IOEC, Prof. Wang Jirui, Dean College of Agronomy, Dr. Chen Qing, Vice Director of IOEC, Prof. Yang Feng, Professor College of Agronomy, Dr. Yan Yuwei, Section Chief, Foreign Personnel Management Section of IOEC, Dr. Muhammad Ali Raza, Post Doctor, College of Agronomy and from Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Moazzam Jamil, Registrar, Prof. Dr. Iqbal Bandesha, Dean, Faculty of Agronomy, Prof. Dr. Tanveer Hussain Turabi, Director, Cholistan Institute of Desert Studies and Dr. Abid Shehzad, Director, Directorate of International Links were present on both sides on this occasion.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپورپاکستان اور سیچوان ایگریکلچر یونیورسٹی عوامی جمہوریہ چین کے مابین تعاون اور اشتراک کے لیے مفاہمتی یاداشت پر دستخط ہوئے۔پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور اور پروفیسر چن ڈائیون نائب صدر سیچوان ایگریکلچر یونیورسٹی نے آن لائن اجلاس میں اپنے اداروں کی جانب سے دستخط کیے۔ اس موقع پر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب اور پروفیسر چن ڈائیون نے مفاہمتی یاداشت کو دونوں جامعات کے مابین تدریس و تحقیق میں پیش رفت، مشترکہ تحقیقی منصوبوں اور فیکلٹی اور طلبا وطالبات کی سطح پر باہمی تبادلہ کے لیے ایک تاریخی اور مثالی دستاویز قرار دیا۔دونوں جامعات نے چائنا پاکستان کراپ ریسرچ سنٹر کے قیام پر بھی اتفاق کیا ہے۔ اس تحقیقی مرکز میں اعلیٰ معیار اور پیداوار کی حامل فصلوں سے متعلق تحقیق کی جائے گی۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور سے 20سے 25طلباء وطالبات سکالر شپ پر سیچوان ایگریکلچر یونیورسٹی میں تعلیم حاصل کریں گے۔ ایکسچینج پروگرام کے تحت دونوں جامعات کے اساتذہ اور طلبا وطالبات ایک دوسرے کے ہاں جا کر تدریسی اور تحقیقی سرگرمیاں انجام دیں گے۔دونوں جامعات مشترکہ کانفرنسز اور تربیتی ورکشاپ منعقد کریں گی اور تحقیقی جرائد شائع کریں گی۔ اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر محمد علی رضا پوسٹ ڈاکٹر، کالج آف ایگرانومی سیچوان ایگریکلچر یونیورسٹی کی خدمات کو سراہا گیا جو دونوں جامعات کے مابین سٹرپ انٹرکراپنگ ٹیکنالوجی کے فروغ کے لیے روابط بڑھا رہے ہیں۔مفاہمتی یاداشت پر دستخط کی تقریب میں سیچوان ایگریکلچر یونیورسٹی سے پروفیسر یانگ وینیو، سابق نائب صدر، پروفیسر، کالج آف ایگرانومی،پروفیسر  زیاژنرونگ،ڈائریکٹر آئی او ای سی، پروفیسر وانگ جیروی، ڈین کالج آف ایگرانومی، ڈاکٹر چن کنگ، نائب ڈائریکٹر آف آئی او ای سی، پروفیسر یانگ فینگ پروفیسر کالج آف ایگرانومی، پروفیسر یانگ یووی، سیکشن چیف، فارن پرسنل مینجمنٹ سیکشن آف آئی او ای سی، ڈاکٹر محمد علی رضا، پوسٹ ڈاکٹر، کالج آف ایگرانومی اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور سے پروفیسر ڈاکٹر معظم جمیل، رجسٹرار، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اقبال بندیشہ، ڈین فیکلٹی آف ایگرانومی، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر تنویر حسین ترابی، ڈائریکٹر چولستان انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف ڈیزرٹ سٹڈیز، ڈاکٹر عابد شہزاد، ڈائریکٹر ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف انٹرنیشنل لنکجزشامل تھے۔
