South Airline will provide travel facilities to the students of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur at concessional rates. In this regard, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and South Airline. Vice Chancellor Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, while welcoming this initiative of the private airline, said that the students of the university will benefit from this facility collectively in the form of individuals and groups. Director Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha said that in the spirit of this agreement, the airline will also cooperate in the travel concession as well as in the events and marketing held at the university, including seminars, job fairs and conferences. Sheikh Kaleemullah Station Manager South Air Bahawalpur, Hassan Jahanzaib Protocol Officer South Air Bahawalpur, Director Public Relations Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, Executive Secretary to the Vice Chancellor Dr. Muhammad Khalid Sheikh, Principal Staff Officer to the Vice Chancellor Waseem Ahmed Siddiqui were present on the occasion.

ساؤتھ ایئر لائن اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے طلباو طالبات کو رعایتی نرخوں پر سفری سہولیات مہیا کرے گی۔ اس سلسلے میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور اور ساؤتھ ایئر لائن کے مابین ایک مفاہمتی یادداشت پر دستخط ہوئے۔ وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے نجی ایئر لائن کے اس اقدام کو خوش آئند قرار دیتے ہوئے کہا کہ یونیورسٹی کے طلباو طالبات انفرادی اور گروپس کی صورتوں میں مجموعی طور پر اس سہولت سے فائدہ اٹھا ئیں گے۔ ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹ افیئرز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا نے کہا کہ اس معاہدے کی رو سے ایئر لائن سفری رعایت کے ساتھ ساتھ یونیورسٹی میں ہونے والے ایونٹس اور مارکیٹنگ میں بھی تعاون کریں گی جن میں سیمینارز، جاب فیئراور کانفرنسز شامل ہیں۔ اس موقع پرشیخ کلیم اللہ سٹیشن منیجر ساؤتھ ایئربہاول پور ، حسن جہانزیب پروٹوکول آفیسر ساؤتھ ایئربہاول پور،ڈائریکٹر پبلک ریلیشنز ڈاکٹر شہزاد احمد خالد، ایگزیکٹو سیکرٹری ٹو وائس چانسلر ڈاکٹر محمد خالد شیخ، پرنسپل سٹاف آفیسر ٹو وائس چانسلر وسیم احمد صدیقی موجود تھے۔
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
