Dr. Muhammad Ramzan Tahir, Department of Urdu and Iqbal Studies, Islamia University of Bahawalpur, spoke on the thoughts of Allama Iqbal and Syed Maududi at the Allama Iqbal and Syed Maududi International Conference held at Riphah International University, Faisalabad. Dr. Ramzan Tahir’s speech enlightened the audience about Iqbal’s philosophy of self, Islamic revivalism, and its significance in the modern era. This international academic gathering was attended by prominent researchers, scholars, and Iqbal studies experts from many countries including Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Malaysia, Samarkand, who presented the intellectual legacy of Iqbal and Syed Maududi in a modern perspective in a very scientific and research-based manner.
