A seminar titled "The Exemplary Life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Our Responsibilities" was held at the Prime Minister Youth Development Hall, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The event was organized by the IUB Qirat and Naat Society under the Directorate of Student Affairs. It took place under the patronage of Engr. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice-Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, Director of Student Affairs. Dr. Adnan Bukhari, Additional Director of Student Societies, presided over the event. Dr. Sarfraz Batool, Director of the Usman Buzdar School of State Sciences, attended as the chief guest, while Dr. Bushra Siddique and Dr. Sabiha Iqbal were the guests of honor; Dr. Zahid Mahmood was among the organizers. The keynote speaker, Prof. Dr. Rozina Anjum (former Chairperson, Department of Persian), was the central figure of the event. Dr. Shabana Nazar, Advisor to the IUB Qirat and Naat Society, delivered the welcome address. She stated that the example of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) serves as the best guide for our lives, and she encouraged the students to cultivate love, tolerance, and good conduct, while also being mindful of the rights of others. Addressing this spiritually uplifting gathering, the guest speaker, Professor Dr. Rozina Anjum, delivered a thought-provoking and faith-inspiring speech regarding the Prophet’s exemplary life and our practical responsibilities. She emphasized that the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the ultimate model for us to emulate. She urged the students to seek guidance from the Prophet’s life, refine their character and conduct, and fulfill their responsibilities in the best possible manner. She further advised them to draw inspiration from the Prophet’s biography and integrate its teachings into their daily lives. Their thought-provoking address conveyed a beautiful message of knowledge and action to the gathering. The event's chief guest, Dr. Sarfraz Batool Director of the Usman Buzdar School of State Sciences—urged students to adopt the noble character, truthfulness, integrity, and spirit of public service exemplified by the Holy Prophet (PBUH), emphasizing that emulating his blessed life is the foundation of a virtuous and responsible society. In her address, Dr. Sabiha Iqbal, In-charge of the Department of Childhood, discussed the significance of the Prophet’s exemplary conduct (*Uswah-e-Hasana*) and its practical implications in our daily lives. Dr. Bushra Siddique from the Department of Entomology also spoke, shedding light on various aspects of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) blessed life. The presiding officer, Dr. Muhammad Adnan Bukhari (Additional Director of Student Affairs), highlighted the Prophet’s (PBUH) exemplary conduct, his noble character, and the importance of his life’s teachings in our practical lives. He encouraged students to make the Prophet’s (PBUH) example an integral part of their lives, to cultivate good character, and to fulfill their responsibilities with sincerity and integrity. Society members Nukhba Ibrahim Khan and Hashir Khan served as the event moderators. Finally, Dr. Shabana Nazar, Advisor to the Qirat and Naat Society, thanked the distinguished guests, faculty members, and students for attending the event. Appreciating the efforts of all participants, she remarked that such meaningful gatherings play a vital role in the religious and moral upbringing of students.
