The Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences the Islamia University of Bahawalpur successfully organized a series of activities in connection with world antimicrobial resistance awareness week 2025. The events were held under the theme act now protect our present, secure our future and aimed to enhance understanding of Antimicrobial Resistance and promote responsible antimicrobial use among students and faculty. The day began with an Awareness Walk along the road in front of the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Main Building, where participants highlighted the growing global threat of Antimicrobial Resistance and emphasized the importance of rational antibiotic use. This was followed by the Student Poster and Infographic Competition in the faculty corridor, where students presented creative and informative visuals on antimicrobial resistance, one health, and antimicrobial stewardship. Later, an engaging Antimicrobial Resistance quiz competition was held in the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Auditorium, with students enthusiastically showcasing their knowledge on Antimicrobial Resistance, resistance mechanisms, and global response frameworks. These activities reflected the faculty’s strong commitment to raising awareness, promoting scientific learning, and contributing to the global effort to combat antimicrobial resistance. The participation and support of students, faculty members, and organizers played a vital role in making world antimicrobial resistance awareness week 2025 at Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences a meaningful and successful initiative.

بہاولپور (پ ر) فیکلٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے ورلڈ اینٹی مائکروبیل ریزسٹنس آگاہی ہفتہ 2025 کے سلسلے میں سیمینار اور خصوصی واک کا اہتمام کیا۔ یہ تقریب ہمارے حال کی حفاظت، ہمارے مستقبل کو محفوظ بنانے کے تھیم کے تحت منعقد کی گئی اور اس کا مقصد اینٹی مائکروبیل ریزسٹنس کی سمجھ کو بڑھانا اور طلباءوطالبات کے درمیان ذمہ دارانہ اینٹی مائکروبیل ریزسٹنس کے استعمال کو فروغ دینا تھا۔ تقریب کا آغازفیکلٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز مین بلڈنگ کے سامنے آگاہی واک سے ہوا، جہاں شرکاء نے اینٹی مائکروبیل ریزسٹنس کے بڑھتے ہوئے عالمی خطرے کو اجاگر کیا اور اینٹی بائیوٹک کے عقلی استعمال کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔ اس کے بعد فیکلٹی کوریڈور میں اسٹوڈنٹ پوسٹر اور انفوگرافک مقابلہ ہوا،جہاں طلباء وطالبات نے اینٹی مائکروبیل مزاحمت، صحت اور اینٹی مائکروبیل اسٹیورڈشپ، تخلیقی اور معلوماتی ویژول پیش کیے۔ بعد ازاں، فیکلٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز آڈیٹوریم میں اینٹی مائکروبیل ریزسٹنس کوئز مقابلہ منعقد کیا گیا، جس میں طلباءوطالبات نے پرجوش طریقے سے اینٹی مائکروبیل ریزسٹنس، مزاحمتی میکانزم، اور عالمی ردعمل کے فریم ورک کے بارے میں اپنے علم کا مظاہرہ کیا۔ یہ سرگرمیاں بیداری بڑھانے، سائنسی تعلیم کو فروغ دینے، اور اینٹی مائکروبیل مزاحمت کا مقابلہ کرنے کے لیے عالمی کوششوں میں تعاون کرنے کے لیے فیکلٹی کے مضبوط عزم کی عکاسی کرتی ہیں۔ فیکلٹی آف ویٹرنری اینڈ اینیمل سائنسز میں عالمی اینٹی مائکروبیل ریزسٹنس آگاہی ہفتہ 2025 کو ایک بامعنی اور کامیاب اقدام بنانے میں طلباءوطالبات، فیکلٹی ممبران اور منتظمین کی شرکت اور تعاون نے اہم کردار ادا کیا۔
