An event was organized at the Department of Pharmacy in connection with International Pharmacist Day 2021. On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean, Faculty of Pharmacy, said that the International Pharmaceutical Foundation was established on this day in the year 1912. The purpose of this day is to highlight the important place of pharmacists in the society. Assistant Professor Dr. Qamar ul Zaman said that the theme of Pharmacist Day in the year 2021 is Pharmacy is a trusted companion of our health. A large number of pharmacy teachers and students were present on the occasion. He said that the role of pharmacist as a professional in the field of health is commendable. The whole society is grateful to the people associated with the pharmacy for a healthy and prosperous life.

انٹرنیشنل فارماسسٹ ڈے 2021کے سلسلے میں شعبہ فارمیسی میں تقریب کا اہتمام کیا گیا۔ اس موقع پر پرو وائس چانسلر و ڈین فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر نے کہا کہ آج کے دن سال 1912میں انٹرنیشنل فارماسوٹیکل فاؤنڈیشن قائم ہوئی۔ اس دن کا مقصد معاشرے میں فارماسسٹ کے اہم مقام کو اجاگر کرنا ہے۔ اسسٹنٹ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر قمرالزمان نے کہا کہ سال 2021میں فارماسسٹ ڈے کا موضوع فارمیسی ہماری صحت کا بااعتماد ساتھی ہے۔ اس موقع پر شعبہ فارمیسی کے اساتذہ اور طلباء وطالبات کثیر تعداد میں موجود تھے۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ صحت کے شعبے میں ایک پیشہ ور کے طور پر فارماسسٹ کا کردار قابل تحسین ہے۔ صحت مند اور خوشحال زندگی کے لیے پورا معاشرہ فارمیسی سے وابستہ افراد کے شکر گزار ہیں۔
