The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has crossed a significant milestone in the national and global recognition of its research activities. Prominent faculty members and researchers of the university have successfully registered their intellectual property rights with the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pro Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf and Director, ORIC, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Atif have congratulated the faculty members on this historic achievement. These researchers include Prof. Dr. Shazia Anjum (current Vice Chancellor, Government Sadiq College, Women’s University, Bahawalpur) from the Institute of Chemistry and Wajid Raza, Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti (Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences) from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Prof. Dr. Salman Bin Naeem, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Atif, Faculty of Pharmacy, Dr. Shafia Arshad, Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, Dr. Kulsoom Akhtar department of Tourism and Hospitality Management, Dr. Rashid Shaheen, Ali Shan and Muhammad Amjad from faculty of Agriculture and Environment. By acquiring these copyrights, the university has demonstrated an effective shift and development from research to innovation. The Vice Chancellor commended the entire team of the Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization for their hard work in furthering the university’s mission of streamlining the commercialization process and transforming academic knowledge into secure impactful assets.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے تحقیقی سرگرمیوں کے قومی اور عالمی سطح پر اعتراف کے لیے ایک اہم سنگ میل عبور کیا ہے۔ جامعہ کے ممتاز فیکلٹی ممبران اور محققین نے انٹلیکچوئل پراپرٹی آرگنائزیشن آف پاکستان کے ساتھ کامیابی کے ساتھ اپنی دانشورانہ حقوق کا اندراج کرایا ہے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پرووائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالروف اور ڈائریکٹر اورک پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد عاطف نے اس تاریخی کامیابی پر فیکلٹی ممبران کو مبارکباد دی ہے۔ ان محققین میں انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف کیمسٹری سے پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شازیہ انجم ( موجودہ وائس چانسلر گورنمنٹ صادق کالج ویمن یونیورسٹی بہاولپور) اور واجد رضا فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز سے پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی (ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز) اور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سلمان بن نعیم پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد عاطف فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی ڈاکٹر شافعہ ارشد فیکلٹی آف میڈیسن اینڈ الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز، شعبہ ٹورازم اینڈ ہاسپیٹلیٹی مینجمنٹ سے ڈاکٹر کلثوم اختر اور فیکلٹی آف ایگریکلچر اینڈ انوائرمنٹ سے ڈاکٹر راشد شاہین علی شان اور محمد امجد شامل ہیں۔ ان کاپی رائٹس کو حاصل کرکے یونیورسٹی نے تحقیق سے اختراع کی طرف ایک موثر تبدیلی اور ترقی کا مظاہرہ کیا ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے آفس آف ریسرچ انوویشن اینڈ کمرشلائزیشن کی پوری ٹیم کو سراہا ہے کہ وہ کمرشلائزیشن کے عمل کو ہموار کرنے اور تعلیمی علم کو محفوظ اثر انگیز اثاثوں میں تبدیل کرنے کے یونیورسٹی کے مشن کو آگے بڑھانے میں محنت کررہے ہیں۔
