IUB and Prix Pharmaceutica organized a free rabies vaccination camp for pets at the Veterinary Clinic.

Department of Clinical Medicine and Surgery (CMS), Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (FV&AS), IUB in collaboration with Prix Pharmaceutica organized a Free Rabies Vaccination Camp for Pet Animals on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Veterinary Clinic. The Camp was started with a seminar delivered by Dr. Sadaqat Ali, Assistant Professor and Dr. Sakhi Lal Haider, Area Sales Manager, Prix Pharmaceutica to the DVM Students. Dr. Amir Iftikhar, Assistant Professor coordinated the event. Pet owners from the vicinity of the university visited the Veterinary Clinic to have their animals vaccinated against rabies using Belrab, a reliable vaccine from Belvitunipharm. Veterinary students from the faculty gained valuable practical experience by conducting a vaccination camp under the supervision of experienced faculty members of the CMS department. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Khalid Mansoor, Dean, FV&AS, commended the Department's outstanding efforts under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Abdul Qayyum. He expressed his appreciation for the collective efforts of the faculty members, para-veterinary staff, supporting staff, and veterinary students in organizing the successful vaccination camp. Prof. Dr. Abdul Qayyum, Chairman of CMS department, thanked Prix Pharmaceutica and the organizers for their collaboration in hosting this valuable event.
