The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is observing its 100th anniversary. In this connection, the Transport Division has placed the centenary logo on the university buses. Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Kamran and the President of the Bahawalpur Women's Chamber of Commerce Rabia Usman displayed the logo in a ceremony at Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus. Principal Officer Transport Division Samar Waheed briefed that 72 buses will display the 100 years celebrations logo across the campuses. The President Women's Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that fifty percent students of the university are girls who avail safe transport facility. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the step by the Transport Division and directed to facilitate students and faculty with a comfortable and safe transport facility. Earlier, a delegation from Bahawalpur Women Chamber of Commerce met with Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran. The Vice Chancellor said that the existing links between the Women Chamber of Commerce and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, especially the promotion of entrepreneurship among female students and other projects are encouraging steps. On this occasion, other officials Ayesha Ali, Ayesha Khan, Fatima Waheed, Irum Tahir, Director Public Relations Dr. Shahzad Ahmed Khalid, Deputy Registrar Public Affairs Fatima Muzahir were present.

بہاولپور (پ ر) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی سو سالہ تقریبات منائی جارہی ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں ٹرانسپورٹ ڈویژن نے یونیورسٹی کی بسوں پر سو سالہ تقریبات کا لوگو آویزاں کردیا ہے۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران اور صدر بہاولپور وومن چیمبر آف کامرس رابعہ عثمان نے بغدادالجدید کیمپس میں ایک تقریب میں بسوں پر آویزاں لوگو کی رونمائی کی۔ پرنسپل آفیسر ٹرانسپورٹ ڈویژن ثمر وحید نے بتایا کہ 72 بسوں پر جامعہ کی 100 سالہ تقریبات کا لوگو آویزاں کیا جائے گا۔ صدر وومن چیمبر آف کامرس اینڈ انڈسٹری رابعہ عثمان نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں پچاس فیصد طالبات زیر تعلیم ہیں جو محفوظ اور آرام دہ ٹرانسپورٹ کی سہولت سے استفادہ کرتی ہیں۔ وائس چانسلر نے ٹرانسپورٹ ڈویژن کے اس اقدام کو سراہا اور طلباء اور فیکلٹی کو ٹرانسپورٹ کی بہترین سہولت فراہم کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔قبل ازیں بہاولپور وومن چیمبر آف کامرس کے وفد نے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران سے ملاقات کی۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ ویمن چیمبر آف کامرس اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے درمیان پہلے سے موجود روابط خصوصا طالبات میں انٹرپرینیورشپ کے فروغ اور خود روزگار کے دیگر منصوبے خوش آئند ہیں۔ اس موقع پر بہاولپور وومن چیمبر آف کامرس کی عہدیداران عائشہ علی، عائشہ خان، فاطمہ وحید، ارم طاہر، ڈائریکٹر پبلک ریلیشنز ڈاکٹر شہزاد احمد خالد، ڈپٹی رجسٹرار پبلک آفیئرز فاطمہ مظاہر موجود تھے۔
