MoU signed IUCPSS for Students Convention

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Islamia University Bahawalpur and Inter University Consortium for Promotion of Social Sciences. Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur and Murtaza Noor National Coordinator International Consortium for Promotion of Education signed the agreement at Baghdad ul Jadeed Campus. Both the Organizations agreed to organize 4th edition of the students convention at Bahawalpur. A number of activities prior to the event will also be organized to motivate maximum students across Pakistan. Islamia University of Bahawalpur will also facilitate and actively collaborate with the IUCPSS for establishing Network of Campus based Student Societies and Clubs. Both the organizations will enhance cooperation for Strengthening of Student Societies of IUB and creating linkages with other organizations and continue to work together for strengthening social sciences and promoting values of effective and responsible citizenship among the students. A joint International Conference will be organized on History and Culture of Bahawalpur at Islamabad.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور اور انٹر یونیورسٹی کنسورشیم برائے ترقی سوشل سائنسز بہاول پور میں قومی سٹوڈنٹس کنونشن منعقد کرائیں گے۔ اس مقصد کے لیے انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر اور انٹر یونیورسٹی کنسورشیم برائے ترقی سوشل سائنسز کے نیشنل کوآرڈینیٹر مرتضیٰ نور نے ایک مفاہمتی یادداشت پر دستخط کیے۔ قومی کنونش میں ملک بھر کے طلباء وطالبات شریک ہوں گے اور مختلف ادبی اور ہم نصابی سرگرمیوں میں شریک ہوں گے۔ اس سرگرمی کا مقصد طلباء وطالبات کے درمیان جذبہ حب الوطنی بیدار کرتے ہوئے ذمہ دار اور فعال شہری بنانا ہے تاکہ وہ ملکی ترقی کے عمل میں حصہ دار بنیں۔ اس موقع پر طے پایا کہ جامعہ اسلامیہ اور انٹر یونیورسٹی کنسورشیم مختلف جامعات کے درمیان باہمی تعاون اور روابط کے فروغ کے لیے نیٹ ورک بھی تشکیل دیں گی۔ اِسی طرح طلباء سوسائٹیز کے قیام کی بھی حوصلہ افزائی کی جائے گی۔ سماجی علوم کی ترقی کے لیے بھی کوششیں کی جائیں گی۔ اس کے علاوہ بہاول پور اور کے عظیم تہذیبی اور تاریخی ورثے کو اُجاگر کرنے کے لیے ایک قومی کانفرنس بھی منعقد کی جائے گی۔
