Inaugural Ceremony of the Micro Irrigation Project of the Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture

Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob, Vice Chancellor, has inaugurated the Micro Irrigation Project of the Department of Horticulture, Faculty of Agriculture. This method irrigates the fields, greenery and plains using less water than irrigation. Currently, this method of irrigation is being used in the main highway of Baghdad Al-Jadeed Campus, Vice Chancellor's Office and Faculty of Agriculture. With the completion of this project, all greenery, agricultural farms and other places will be irrigated while saving water in Baghdad al-Jadeed. This will save a lot of water. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor also distributed certificates among the faculty members and students working in the project.

پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب وائس چانسلر نے فیکلٹی آف ایگریکلچر کے شعبہ ہارٹیکلچر کے پراجیکٹ مائیکرو ایریگیشن کا افتتاح کردیا ہے۔ اس طریقہ آبپاشی سے کم پانی کو استعمال کرتے ہوئے کھیتوں، سبزازار اور میدانوں کو سیراب کیا جاتا ہے۔ ابھی اس طریقہ کار آبپاشی کوبغدادالجدید کیمپس کی مرکزی شاہراہ، وائس چانسلر آفس اور ایگریکلچر فیکلٹی میں بروئے کار لایا جا رہا ہے۔ اس پراجیکٹ کی تکمیل سے بغدادالجدید میں پانی کی بچت کرتے ہوئے تمام سبزازار، زرعی فارم اور دیگر جگہوں کی سیرابی کی جائے گی۔ جس سے پانی کی غیر معمولی بچت ہو گی۔ اس موقع پر وا ئس چانسلر نے پراجیکٹ میں کام کرنے والے فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلبہ و طالبات میں اسناد بھی تقسیم کی۔
