Dr. Azhar Hussain, Assistant Professor, Department of Soil Science, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan was presented with Agricultural Youth Award (2020-21) on 4 March 2021 by Raja Nasir Ali Khan, Minister of Tourism Sports Culture & Youth Affairs to recognize his achievements as a young scientist who have worked for the Agricultural Research, Farming, Business Development & Policymaking of Pakistan. This award is the initiative of the National Agriculture Youth Commission, Islamabad Pakistan.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
