Department of Pakistan Studies, IUB hosts Seminar to Mark 15-Day Celebrations of Marka-e-Haq Bunyan-ul-Marsoos

The fifteen-day celebrations of the battle of Marka e Haq Bunyan ul Marsoos are ongoing under the direction of the Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran. An important academic and intellectual seminar was organized today on the topic of the marka e haq bunyan ul marsoos under the auspices of the Department of Pakistan Studies, Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The aim of this seminar was to highlight national solidarity, intellectual awareness and a sense of collective responsibility among the students in the context of the current situation. The special guest and speaker of the seminar was Fakhr Bilal, Associate Professor, Department of History, Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad, who in his address shed light in detail on the meaning of the marka e haq bunyan ul marsoos, its historical and intellectual importance and its practical application in the current national context. He told the participants that this concept is not just a term but a symbol of unity, stability and collective strength, which provides a strong foundation to any nation. A large number of teachers, research scholars and students participated in the ceremony and benefited from the topic. The speakers emphasized that national unity and solidarity are the forces that can play a key role in addressing the challenges facing Pakistan. At the end of the ceremony, Chairperson of the Department of Pakistan Studies, Rubina Yasmin, thanked the special guest, teachers and students and said that organizing such academic programs is very important for the intellectual training of students and the awakening of national consciousness. The duties of hosting this seminar were well performed by Asif Usman, Lecturer, Department of Pakistan Studies, who took the program forward in a good manner. This seminar was very successful in terms of academic and intellectual aspects and the participants described it as a purposeful and effective effort.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کی ہدایت پر معرکہ حق بنیان المرصوص کی پندرہ روزہ تقریبات جاری ہیں۔ شعبہ پاکستان اسٹڈیز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیرِ اہتمام آج بنیان المرصوص کے موضوع پر ایک اہم علمی و فکری سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔ اس سیمینار کا مقصد طلبہ و طالبات میں قومی یکجہتی، فکری شعور اور موجودہ حالات کے تناظر میں اجتماعی ذمہ داری کے احساس کو اجاگر کرنا تھا۔ سیمینار کے مہمانِ خصوصی و مقرر، فخر بلال ایسوسی ایٹ پروفیسر، شعبہ تاریخ، قائداعظم یونیورسٹی، اسلام آباد تھے، جنہوں نے اپنے خطاب میں بنیان المرصوص کے مفہوم، اس کی تاریخی و فکری اہمیت اور موجودہ قومی تناظر میں اس کے عملی اطلاق پر تفصیل سے روشنی ڈالی۔ انہوں نے شرکاء کو بتایا کہ یہ تصور محض ایک اصطلاح نہیں بلکہ اتحاد، استحکام اور اجتماعی طاقت کی علامت ہے، جو کسی بھی قوم کو مضبوط بنیاد فراہم کرتی ہے۔ تقریب میں اساتذہ کرام، ریسرچ اسکالرز اور طلبہ کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی اور موضوع سے بھرپور استفادہ حاصل کیا۔ مقررین نے اس بات پر زور دیا کہ قومی اتحاد اور یکجہتی ہی وہ قوت ہے جو پاکستان کو درپیش چیلنجز سے نمٹنے میں کلیدی کردار ادا کرسکتی ہے۔ تقریب کے اختتام پر چیئرپرسن شعبۂ پاکستان اسٹڈیز، روبینہ یاسمین نے مہمانِ خصوصی، اساتذہ اور طلبہ کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ایسے علمی پروگرامز کا انعقاد طلبہ کی فکری تربیت اور قومی شعور کی بیداری کے لیے نہایت ضروری ہے۔ اس سیمینار کی نظامت کے فرائض آصف عثمان لیکچرر، شعبۂ پاکستان اسٹڈیز نے بخوبی انجام دیے، جنہوں نے پروگرام کو احسن انداز میں آگے بڑھایا۔ یہ سیمینار علمی و فکری حوالے سے نہایت کامیاب رہا اور شرکاء نے اسے ایک بامقصد اور مؤثر کاوش قرار دیا۔
