The Department of Administrative Sciences, successfully organized an insightful seminar on Prudential Regulations for Financial Institutions in Pakistan at Institute of Business, Management & Administrative Sciences. The session featured Muhammad Arif, Deputy Director, State Bank of Pakistan , as the Guest Speaker, who provided students with valuable insights into Pakistan’s financial regulatory framework, risk management, liquidity and funding standards, governance and compliance, and the role of the State Bank of Pakistan in ensuring financial stability. The seminar was attended by faculty members and students of the Department of Administrative Sciences. The interactive session provided students with an excellent opportunity to engage directly with a banking-sector professional. Students actively participated in the discussion and raised insightful questions, particularly regarding career opportunities, professional pathways, and prospects in the financial and regulatory sector. On the occasion, Dr. Shahid Mehmood, Chairman, Department of Administrative Sciences, expressed his appreciation to the distinguished guest speaker for sharing his valuable professional knowledge and experience with the students. As a token of appreciation, the Chairman presented a souvenir to Mr. Muhammad Arif on behalf of the Department. The Department of Administrative Sciences remains committed to fostering industry–academia linkages, experiential learning, professional exposure, and career-oriented academic activities, enabling students to connect classroom knowledge with the realities of the professional world.

شعبہ ایڈ منسٹریٹو سائنسز انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف بزنس، مینجمنٹ اینڈ ایڈمنسٹریٹو سائنسزاسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپورنے میں پاکستان میں مالیاتی اداروں کے لیے احتیاطی ضوابط پر ایک معلوماتی سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا۔ اس نشست میں اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان کے ڈپٹی ڈائریکٹر، محمد عارف نے بطور مہمانِ خصوصی شرکت کی اور طلبہ کو پاکستان کے مالیاتی ریگولیٹری فریم ورک، رسک مینجمنٹ (خطرات کے انتظام)، لیکویڈیٹی اور فنڈنگ کے معیارات، گورننس اور تعمیل ، نیز مالیاتی استحکام کو یقینی بنانے میں اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان کے کردار کے بارے میں اہم معلومات فراہم کیں۔ سیمینار میں شعبہ ایڈ منسٹریٹو سائنسز کے اساتذہ اور طلبہ نے شرکت کی۔ اس باہمی مکالمے پر مبنی نشست نے طلبہ کو بینکنگ کے شعبے کے ایک ماہر کے ساتھ براہِ راست بات چیت کرنے کا بہترین موقع فراہم کیا۔ طلبہ نے بحث میں بھرپور حصہ لیا اور خاص طور پر کیریئر کے مواقع، پیشہ ورانہ راستوں اور مالیاتی و ریگولیٹری شعبے میں مستقبل کے امکانات کے حوالے سے اہم سوالات پوچھے۔ اس موقع پر، شعبہ ایڈ منسٹریٹو سائنسز کے چیئرمین ڈاکٹر شاہد محمود نے طلبہ کے ساتھ اپنا قیمتی پیشہ ورانہ علم اور تجربہ شیئر کرنے پر مہمانِ خصوصی کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ شعبہ ایڈ منسٹریٹو سائنسز صنعت اور تعلیمی اداروں کے درمیان روابط کو فروغ دینے، عملی سیکھنے کے عمل ، پیشہ ورانہ تجربے کے حصول اور کیریئر سے متعلق تعلیمی سرگرمیوں کے انعقاد کے لیے پرعزم ہے، تاکہ طلبہ کلاس روم میں حاصل کردہ علم کو پیشہ ورانہ دنیا کی حقیقتوں سے ہم آہنگ کر سکیں۔
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
