Delegation of Young Peace Development Corps (YPDC x IUB) Meets Worthy Vice Chancellor of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur

A delegation of the Young Peace Development Corps (YPDC), Islamia University Bahawalpur Chapter, called on the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, on September 05, 2025. The delegation was accompanied by the Additional Director Students Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Adnan Bukhari.
The Vice Chancellor appreciated President Mr. Fasihullah for his active participation in the YPDC Fellowship Program held in Islamabad, where he proudly represented Bahawalpur and the province of Punjab as a dynamic student leader. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor also presented him with a Certificate of Appreciation in recognition of his valuable contribution.
The delegation included Mr. Fasihullah (President, YPDC x IUB), Mr. Muhammad Ahmad Zafar (General Secretary, YPDC x IUB), and Miss Laila Kainat (Coordinator, YPDC x IUB).

The meeting was aimed at briefing the university leadership about YPDC’s mission and vision under the umbrella of “Uraan Pakistan”, supervised by the Ministry of Planning, Development & Special Initiatives, Government of Pakistan, under the visionary leadership of Prof. Dr. Ahsan Iqbal (Federal Minister for Planning & Development).

During the discussion, the delegation emphasized YPDC’s role in youth empowerment, leadership development, peacebuilding, and national progress. The Vice Chancellor praised these efforts and assured full support for constructive student engagement at IUB.

The delegation also highlighted the “5 Es of YPDC” which form the foundation of its mission.

The meeting concluded with a commitment to strengthen youth-led initiatives, providing opportunities for students to grow as responsible leaders and active contributors towards Pakistan’s development.
