Closing ceremony of 2nd International Conference on Emerging Trends in Physics held at KGF Auditorium, IUB

Bahawalpur (P) Institute of Physics the Islamia University of Bahawalpur organized the second international conference on the topic of modern trends in the field of physics has come to an end. This conference organized in collaboration with Pak-UK Education Gateway British Council, besides delegates from Queen Mary University of London, physics experts from universities all over Pakistan participated. On the second day, three sessions and a workshop were held. On this occasion, delegates from Queen Mary University of London Prof. Dr. Alan Drew, Prof. Dr. Elizabeth Tanner, Dr. Tayyaba Rabnawaz, and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Danish Mujib from NED University Karachi, Prof. Dr. M.A.K. Lodhi USA and others addressed. Poster display competitions were also held on this occasion and young physics teachers and students were informed about the opportunities of higher education in European universities. The focal person of the conference, Prof. Dr. Saeed Ahmed Buzdar, Dean, Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Director, Institute of Physics, thanked Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar for organizing and sponsoring the conference. He appreciated the participation of British Council Pakistan and local and foreign delegates in the conference.

بہاول پور (پ) انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف فزکس اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاول پور کے زیر اہتمام فزکس کے میدان میں جدید رجحانات کے موضوع پر منعقد ہونے والی دوسری بین الاقوامی کانفرنس اختتام پذیر ہوگئی۔ پاک یوکے ایجوکیشن گیٹ وے برٹش کونسل کے اشتراک سے ہونے والی اس کانفرنس میں کوئین میری یونیورسٹی آف لندن سے آئے ہوئے مندوبین کے علاوہ پاکستان بھر کی جامعات سے آئے ہوئے فزکس کے ماہرین شریک ہوئے۔ دوسرے روز تین سیشنز اور ایک ورکشاپ منعقد ہوئی۔ اس موقع پر کوئین میری یونیورسٹی آف لندن سے آئے ہوئے مندوبین پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ایلن ڈریو، پروفیسر ڈاکٹر الزبتھ تنیر، ڈاکٹر طیبہ ربنواز، اور این ای ڈی یونیورسٹی کراچی سے پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد دانش مجیب اور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ایم اے کے لودھی یو ایس اے اور دیگر نے خطاب کیا۔ اس موقع پر پوسٹر ڈسپلے کے مقابلے بھی منعقد ہوئے اور فزکس کے نوجوان اساتذہ اور طلبا وطالبات کو یورپی جامعات میں اعلیٰ تعلیم کے مواقعوں سے آگاہ کیا گیا۔ کانفرنس کے فوکل پرسن پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سعید احمد بزدار ڈین فیکلٹی آف فزیکل اینڈ میتھمیٹیکل سائنسز و ڈائریکٹر انسٹی ٹیوٹ آف فزکس نے کانفرنس کے انعقاد اور سرپرستی پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے برٹش کونسل پاکستان اور ملکی اور غیر ملکی مندوبین کی کانفرنس میں شرکت کو سراہا۔
