Another honor for IUB: Dr. Muhammad Ehsan was invited as a speaker at Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran.

It is with immense pride that Dr. Muhammad Ehsan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Parasitology, Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, represented the University at the 6th Mustafa (PBUH) Prize Award Ceremony, and also participated as an invited speaker at the 10th Science and Technology Exchange Program (STEP), held at Amirkabir University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, from September 6 to 9, 2025.

These events brought together leading scientists, innovators, and scholars from across the Muslim world to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange in the fields of science, technology, and innovation (STI). During his participation, Dr. Ehsan had the opportunity to engage with globally renowned experts and laureates, highlighting the significant academic and research contributions of The Islamia University of Bahawalpur to the advancement of science and technology. He actively took part in several sessions, including the Young Scientist Medal Award, Science Café, and various S&T panels. In his interactions with distinguished scholars and laureates, Dr. Ehsan emphasized the critical need for vaccine development against zoonotic and infectious diseases affecting both livestock and humans in Pakistan. His insights were well-received, and scientists from the Muslim world expressed strong interest in future collaboration with The Islamia University of Bahawalpur.

The Chairman of the Department of Parasitology, Dr. Tauseef ur Rehman, and the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Prof. Dr. M. Khalid Mansoor, commended Dr. Ehsan’s participation and representation of the University at such a distinguished global platform.
