The spokesperson of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has said that the university has a zero-tolerance policy on any kind of harassment. In this regard, there is a complete mechanism for investigating anti-harassment matters as per the guidelines of the Higher Education Commission. There is a university center for anti-harassment and discrimination headed by a senior female teacher of the university. The phone numbers of the anti-harassment committee and center have been clearly displayed at prominent places in all campuses of the university. Any student can feel free to contact the concerned teachers and committee members in case of such a complaint. All information is available on the university website in this regard. Awareness seminars are also organized regarding the anti-harassment policy and complaint procedure. All students should inform the university authorities of any such complaint without fear. Lack of awareness in this regard causes problems not only for the said student but also for the university. Therefore, employees and students are again reminded to approach the university regarding any such complaint so that such matter can be immediately investigated and legal action can be taken against the responsible individuals.

بہاولپور(پ ر) ترجمان اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے کہا ہے کہ جامعہ میں کسی بھی طرح کی ہراسمنٹ پر زیرو ٹالرینس پالیسی نافذ ہے۔ اس سلسلے میں ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کی گائیڈ لائنز کے مطابق اینٹی ہراسمنٹ معاملات کی تحقیقات کا پورا میکانزم موجود ہے۔ یونیورسٹی کی سینئر خاتون اساتذہ کی سربراہی میں یونیورسٹی سینٹر برائے اینٹی ہراسمنٹ اینڈ ڈسکریمینیشن موجود ہے۔ یونیورسٹی میں تمام کیمپسز میں نمایاں جگہوں پر اینٹی ہراسمنٹ کمیٹی و سنٹر کی جانب سے واضح انداز میں فون نمبر آویزاں کیے گئے ہیں۔ کوئی بھی طالب علم یا طالبہ ایسی شکایت کی صورت میں بلاجھجک متعلقہ اساتذہ اور کمیٹی ممبران سے رجوع کر سکتے ہیں۔ اس سلسلے میں یونیورسٹی ویب سائٹ پر تمام معلومات موجود ہے۔ اینٹی ہراسمنٹ پالیسی اور شکایت کے طریقہ کار سے متعلق آگاہی سیمینار بھی منعقد کیے جاتے ہیں۔ تمام طلبا و طالبات ایسی کسی بھی شکایت کو بلاخوف یونیورسٹی کے حکام کو آگاہ کریں۔ اس سلسلے میں عدم آگاہی نہ صرف مذکورہ طالب علم بلکہ جامعہ کے لیے بھی مسائل کا سبب بنتی ہے۔ لہذا ملازمین اور طلباو طالبات کو دوبارہ آگاہ کیا جاتا ہے کہ ایسی کسی بھی شکایت پر یونیورسٹی سے رجوع کریں تاکہ ایسے معاملے کی فوراً تحقیقات کرکے ذمہ دار افراد کے خلاف قانونی کاروائی کی جاسکے۔
