Admissions open in 11 Academic Programs in the Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences

Pro Vice-Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar, Dean Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences said that admissions are going on in 11 academic programs in both faculties during spring admission. He said that the Faculty of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences was established in recent years according to the vision of Vice Chancellor Engr. Prof. Dr. Athar Mahboob. After establishing this faculty, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has gained a unique position in the field of allied health sciences among universities across the province. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is world-renowned in the field of pharmacy. The University Nursing College was established on direction of the Vice Chancellor and since its inception has been one of the best nursing colleges in the country. All departments of both faculties have experienced teachers with Ph.D and laboratories are also equipped with modern equipment. He said that all these educational programs are very popular in the job market and graduates of these fields are in high demand both domestically and abroad. These programs include BS Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Doctor of Physical Therapy, BS Medical Laboratory Technology, BS Forensic Science, BS Public Health, Certificate in Health Profession Education, Diploma in Cupping Therapy, Post Graduate Diploma in Alternative Medicine and Health Products Manufacturing, Post Graduate Diploma in Acupuncture and Pain Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Aesthetic Health Sciences. At the moment, the spring admission campaign is in full swing in these fields. The last date for submission of applications for admissions is 10 January 2023. Students desirous of admission can apply online at the university website eportal.iub.edu.pk. پرو وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نوید اختر، ڈین فیکلٹی آف فارمیسی اینڈ فیکلٹی آف میڈیسن اینڈ الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز نے کہا کہ سپرنگ ایڈمیشن کے دوران دونوں فیکلٹیوں میں 11 پروگراموں میں داخلے جاری ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ فیکلٹی آف میڈیسن اینڈ الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز وائس چانسلر انجینئر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اطہر محبوب کے ویژن کے مطابق حالیہ برسوں میں قائم کی گئی۔ اس فیکلٹی کی بدولت اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کو صوبہ بھر کی جامعات میں الائیڈ ہیلتھ سائنسز کے شعبے میں منفرد مقام حاصل ہو چکا ہے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور فارمیسی کے میدان میں عالمی شہرت کی حامل ہے اور فارم ڈی پروگرام میں داخلوں کا میرٹ بہت بلند ہوتا ہے۔ یونیورسٹی نرسنگ کالج وائس چانسلر کی خصوصی دلچسپی سے قائم ہوا اور ابتدا ہی سے ملک کے بہترین نرسنگ کالجز میں شمار ہوتا ہے۔ دونوں فیکلٹیز کے تمام شعبہ جات میں پی ایچ ڈی کے حامل تجربہ کار اساتذہ کرام موجود ہیں۔ لیبارٹریاں بھی جدید آلات سے لیس ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ یہ تمام تعلیمی پروگرام جاب مارکیٹ میں انتہائی مقبول ہیں اور ان شعبوں کے گریجویٹس کی اندورن ملک اور بیرون ملک بہت زیادہ مانگ ہے۔ ان پروگراموں میں بی ایس ہیومن نیوٹریشن اینڈ ڈائیٹکس، ڈاکٹر آف فزیکل تھراپی، بی ایس میڈیکل لیبارٹری ٹیکنالوجی، بی ایس فرانزک سائنس، بی ایس پبلک ہیلتھ، سرٹیفکیٹ ان ہیلتھ پرفیشن ایجوکیشن، ڈپلومہ ان کپنگ تھراپی، پوسٹ گریجویٹ ڈپلومہ ان الٹرنیٹو میڈیسن اینڈ ہیلتھ پروڈکٹس، پوسٹ گریجویٹ ڈپلومہ ان اکیوپانچر اینڈ پین مینجمنٹ، پوسٹ گریجویٹ ڈپلومہ ان ایستھیٹک ہیلتھ سائنسز شامل ہیں۔ اس وقت ان شعبوں میں موسم بہار کی داخلہ مہم عروج پر ہے۔ داخلوں کے لیے درخواستیں جمع کرانے کی آخری تاریخ 10 جنوری 2023 ہے۔ داخلے کے خواہشمند طلباء و طالبات یونیورسٹی کی ویب سائٹ Eportal.iub.edu.pk پر آن لائن آپلائی کر سکتے ہیں۔ داخلے سے متعلق رہنمائی کے لیے عباسیہ کیمپس میں متعلقہ عملہ موجود ہے اور یونیورسٹی انفارمیشن سینٹر کے ان نمبروں  03459255555, 03469255555, 0629255580 پر بھی رابطہ کیا جا سکتا ہے۔
