A special seminar was held at the Khawaja Fareed Auditorium to mark the death anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, organized by the Kashmir and Nazriya e Pakistan Society under the Directorate of Student Affairs at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The seminar featured discussions on various aspects of the founding father's life, personality, political struggle, constitutional insight, and national services. Speakers highlighted Quaid-e-Azam’s adherence to principles, integrity, discipline, respect for the law, and commitment to democratic values as defining traits of his character. Dr. Ramzan Tahir, Advisor to the Kashmir and Nazriya e Pakistan Society,thanking the Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Muhammad Kamran for patronising the seminar, delivered a comprehensive address regarding Quaid-e-Azam’s life and character, shedding light on key milestones in his political and personal life, his principled stance, and his steadfastness in the face of adversity. Dr. Zahida Babar spoke about Quaid-e-Azam’s political acumen, leadership qualities, and his struggle to guide the Muslims of the Subcontinent, describing the principles of Unity, Faith, and Discipline as vital guiding lights for the younger generation. Dr. Ishrat Noreen from Government Sadiq Egerton College, Bahawalpur, discussed various facets of Quaid-e-Azam’s life and philosophy, emphasizing his integrity, determination, discipline, and democratic mindset; she described his character as a source of practical guidance for students. According to Dr Shahzad Ahmed Khalid Director PR Islamia University of Bahawalpur the seminar also included discussions on Quaid-e-Azam’s national contributions and the contemporary relevance of his ideas. Dr. Muhammad Adnan Bukhari, Additional Director of Student Affairs, shed light on various aspects of Quaid-e-Azam’s life. While outlining the objectives behind establishing student societies at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, he stated that these platforms provide students with opportunities to hone their talents, utilize their creative and intellectual potential, and participate in diverse academic, literary, social, and co-curricular activities.

کشمیر اور نظریۂ پاکستان سوسائٹی ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف اسٹوڈنٹس افیئرز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیرِ اہتمام قائداعظم محمد علی جناحؒ کی برسی کی مناسبت سے خواجہ فرید آڈیٹوریم میں خصوصی سیمینار منعقد ہوا۔سیمینار میں بانی پاکستان کی زندگی شخصیت سیاسی جدوجہد آئینی بصیرت اور قومی خدمات کے مختلف پہلوؤں پر اظہارِ خیال کیا گیا۔ مقررین نے قائداعظمؒ کی اصول پسندی دیانت داری نظم و ضبط قانون پسندی اور جمہوری اقدار کو ان کی شخصیت کا نمایاں وصف قرار دیا۔کشمیر اور نظریۂ پاکستان سوسائٹی کے ایڈوائزر ڈاکٹر رمضان طاہر نے قائداعظمؒ کی زندگی کردار کے حوالے سے جامع گفتگو کی۔ انہوں نے ان کی سیاسی و ذاتی زندگی کے اہم مراحل اصولی مؤقف اور مشکل حالات میں ثابت قدمی پر روشنی ڈالی۔ ڈاکٹر زاہدہ بابر نے قائداعظمؒ کی سیاسی بصیرت قائدانہ صلاحیتوں اور برصغیر کے مسلمانوں کی رہنمائی کے لیے ان کی جدوجہد کا تذکرہ کیا۔ انہوں نے اتحاد ایمان اور نظم و ضبط کے اصولوں کو نوجوان نسل کے لیے اہم رہنمائی قرار دیا۔گورنمنٹ صادق ایجرٹن کالج بہاولپور کی ڈاکٹر عشرت نورین نے قائداعظمؒ کی زندگی اور افکار کے مختلف پہلوؤں پر اظہارِ خیال کرتے ہوئے ان کی دیانت داری عزم نظم و ضبط اور جمہوری سوچ کا ذکر کیا۔ انہوں نے قائداعظمؒ کے کردار کو طلباء وطالبات کے لیے عملی رہنمائی کا ذریعہ قرار دیا۔سیمینار میں قائداعظمؒ کی قومی خدمات اور ان کے افکار کی موجودہ دور میں اہمیت پر بھی گفتگو ہوئی۔ ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر اسٹوڈنٹس افیئرز ڈاکٹر محمد عدنان بخاری نے قائداعظمؒ کی زندگی کے مختلف پہلوؤں پر روشنی ڈالی اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں طلبہ سوسائٹیز کے قیام کے مقاصد بیان کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ یہ پلیٹ فارم طلبہ کو اپنی صلاحیتوں کو نکھارنے تخلیقی و فکری استعداد بروئے کار لانے اور مختلف تعلیمی ادبی سماجی و ہم نصابی سرگرمیوں میں حصہ لینے کے مواقع فراہم کرتا ہے۔
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
