A seminar titled Pakistan Global Peacemaker was held at Ghulam Muhammad Ghotvi Hall Abbasia Campus Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia was the chief guest while Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran presided over the seminar. Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Irfan Ali Kathia said that Pakistan’s name is resonating all over the world today regarding peace. We have a history of always striving for global peace. So far, two hundred thousand Pakistani soldiers have participated in 40 peace missions. Deputy Commissioner Syed Hassan Raza said that Pakistan is always alive and the youth are the light and hope of our future. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran said that Pakistan is the messenger of global peace. Thanks to successful diplomacy in recent times, Pakistan has saved the world from the third world war.  It is a great achievement of Pakistan to bring two dynamic countries to one table through the efforts of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. The entire nation stands with the Government of Pakistan and the Armed Forces of Pakistan on this occasion. The Vice Chancellor said that the tradition of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is to stand with the entire nation on the most important national and international occasions and always remain at the forefront. Professor Dr. Rubina Bhatti, Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, said that peace is actually the guarantor of development and prosperity. Wars bring destruction and devastation. Both the leadership and the people of Pakistan have proven that we are a peaceful nation and are ambassadors of peace in the world. This was demonstrated practically at the Peace Talk in Islamabad. Chairman, Department of Public Administration Dr. Shahbaz Ali Khan said that in recent days, there has been immense anxiety all over the world over the fears of nuclear war. On this occasion, the global economy also suffered a setback, but the whole world is appreciating Pakistan’s peace efforts and their fruits.  Dr. Shakeel Akhtar of the Department of Political Science said in his address that the past and present situation of the Middle East Iran, America and Israel wars were discussed in detail. On this occasion, students presented national songs. The ceremony was attended by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Abdul Rauf, Dean of Pharmacy Prof. Dr. Qaiser Jabin, Registrar Muhammad Shaji ur Rehman, teachers and students in large numbers.

پاکستان عالمی امن کا داعی (پاکستان گلوبل پیس میکر) کے عنوان سے غلام محمد گھوٹوی ہال عباسیہ کیمپس اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں سیمینار منعقد ہوا۔ کمشنر بہاولپور ڈویژن عرفان علی کاٹھیا مہمان خصوصی تھے جبکہ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے سیمینار کی صدارت کی۔ کمشنر بہاولپور ڈویژن عرفان علی کاٹھیا نے کہا کہ پاکستان کا نام آج امن کے حوالے سے پوری دنیا میں گونج رہا ہے ۔ ہماری تاریخ ہے کہ عالمی امن کے لئے ہمیشہ کوشاں رہے ہیں۔ ابتک 40 امن مشنوں میں دو لاکھ پاکستانی سپاہیوں نے حصہ لیاہے۔ ڈپٹی کمشنر سید حسن رضا نے کہا کہ پاکستان ہمیشہ زندہ بادہے اور نوجوان ہمارے مستقبل کی روشنی امید ہیں ۔وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے کہا کہ پاکستان عالمی امن کا پیامبر ہے ۔ حالیہ دنوں میں کامیاب ڈپلومیسی کی بدولت پاکستان نے دنیا کو تیسری عالمی جنگ سے بچا لیا۔ فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر، وزیر اعظم پاکستان محمد شہباز شریف اور وزیر خارجہ اسحاق ڈار کی کاوشوں سے دو متحرک ممالک کو ایک میز پر لانا پاکستان کا عظیم کارنامہ ہے۔ پوری قوم اس موقع پر حکومت پاکستان اور افواج پاکستان کے ساتھ کھڑی ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کا تُرا رہا ہے کہ اہم ترین قومی اور عالمی مواقعوں پر پوری قوم کے ساتھ کھڑی ہوتی ہے اور ہمیشہ سرخرو ٹھہری۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر رویبنہ بھٹی ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز نے کہا کہ امن ہی دراصل ترقی اور خوش حالی کا ضامن ہے۔ جنگیں تباہی اور بربادی لاتی ہیں۔ پاکستان کی قیادت اور عوام دونوں نے ثابت کیا ہے کہ ہم ایک پرامن قوم ہے اور دنیا میں امن کے سفیر ہیں ۔ اس بات کا عملی مظاہرہ اسلام آباد میں پیس ٹاک میں ہوا۔ چیئرمین شعبہ پبلک ایڈمنسٹریشن ڈاکٹر شہباز علی خان نے کہا کہ حالیہ دنوں میں پوری دنیا میں ایٹمی جنگ کے خدشات پر بے حد اضطراب تھا۔ اس موقع پر عالمی اقتصادیات بھی ابتری کا شکار ہوگئی لیکن پاکستان کی امن کی کاوش اور اس کے ثمرات سے پوری دنیا معترف ہے۔ شعبہ سیاسیات کے ڈاکٹر شکیل اختر نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ مشرقی وسطی ایران، امریکہ اور اسرائیل جنگ ماضی اور حال کے احوال پر تفصیلی گفتگو کی۔ اس موقع طلباوطا لبات نے ملی نغمے  پیش کیے۔ تقریب میں پرو وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر عبدالروف ڈین فارمیسی پروفیسر ڈاکٹر قیصر جبیں رجسٹرار محمد شجیع الرحمن اساتذہ اور طلبا و طالبات نے بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کی۔
