The Directorate of Advanced Studies and Research, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur gave a detailed presentation to the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran. Presentation was on Advanced Studies and Research functions related to MPhil/PhD/ post-doctoral, research progress, and operational challenges. Director Advanced Studies and Research Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha briefed that currently, the university is offering 119 MPhil and 60 PhD programs with more than 7500 research scholars actively enrolled. The meeting was attended by Additional Director Abdul Samad, Deputy Registrar Irfan Hidayat, Assistant Registrar Zulqarnain Asab, Assistant Registrar Mahlab Ijaz and staff members of the Directorate. Vice Chancellor appreciated the valuable services of Advanced Studies and Research, dedication of the staff and acknowledged the significant role played by the Directorate in the university’s academic and research development. He emphasized the need to further increase postgraduate admissions and assured that the challenges faced by the Directorate would be addressed on priority basis. The Vice Chancellor also reiterated his commitment to further improving the rules and regulations related to the Directorate of Advanced Studies and Research. Additionally, he indicated that remuneration structures for external experts and examiners would be revised. Prof. Dr. Asif Naveed Ranjha, on behalf of Advanced Studies and Research, expressed his sincere gratitude to the Vice Chancellor for providing an opportunity to present the performance, functions, and needs of the Directorate. He also appreciated the Vice Chancellor’s commitment to institutional strengthening and academic excellence.

بہاولپور (پ ر) ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف ایڈوانسڈ سٹڈیز اینڈ ریسرچ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی آف بہاولپور نے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کو تفصیلی پریزنٹیشن دی۔ پریزنٹیشن ایم فل، پی ایچ ڈی، پوسٹ ڈاکٹریٹ، تحقیقی پیشرفت اور آپریشنل چیلنجز سے متعلق ایڈوانسڈ اسٹڈیز اور ریسرچ فنکشنز پر تھی۔ ڈائریکٹر ایڈوانسڈ سٹڈیز اینڈ ریسرچ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا نے بتایا کہ اس وقت یونیورسٹی 119 ایم فل اور 60 پی ایچ ڈی پروگرام پیش کررہی ہے جس میں 7500 سے زیادہ ریسرچ اسکالرز زیر تعلیم ہیں۔ اجلاس میں ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر عبدالصمد، ڈپٹی رجسٹرار عرفان ہدایت، اسسٹنٹ رجسٹرار ذوالقرنین عساب، اسسٹنٹ رجسٹرار مہلب اعجاز اور ڈائریکٹوریٹ کے عملہ نے شرکت کی۔ وائس چانسلر نے ایڈوانسڈ اسٹڈیز اینڈ ریسرچ کی گرانقدر خدمات، عملے کی لگن اور یونیورسٹی کی تعلیمی اور تحقیقی ترقی میں ڈائریکٹوریٹ کے نمایاں کردار کو سراہا۔ انہوں نے پوسٹ گریجویٹ داخلوں کو مزید بڑھانے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا اور یقین دلایا کہ ڈائریکٹوریٹ کو درپیش چیلنجز کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر حل کیا جائے گا۔ وائس چانسلر نے ڈائریکٹوریٹ آف ایڈوانسڈ سٹڈیز اینڈ ریسرچ سے متعلق قواعد و ضوابط کو مزید بہتر بنانے کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔ مزید برآں، انہوں نے کہا کہ بیرونی ماہرین اور معائنہ کاروں کے لیے معاوضے کے ڈھانچے پر نظر ثانی کی جائے گی۔ ایڈوانسڈ اسٹڈیز اینڈ ریسرچ کی جانب سے پروفیسر ڈاکٹر آصف نوید رانجھا نے ڈائریکٹوریٹ کی کارکردگی، افعال اور ضروریات کو پیش کرنے کا موقع فراہم کرنے پر وائس چانسلر کا تہہ دل سے شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے ادارہ جاتی مضبوطی اور تعلیمی بہتری کے لیے وائس چانسلر کے عزم کو بھی سراہا۔
