Vice Chancellor, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, paid a visit to the Faculty of Chemical and Biological Sciences at Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus. During the visit, the Vice Chancellor observed ongoing academic and research activities, including classroom teaching and practical laboratory work. He interacted with faculty members and students, appreciating their commitment towards teaching, learning, and innovation in the fields of chemistry, biology, biotechnology, and related disciplines. The Vice Chancellor highlighted the importance of modern laboratories and hands-on training in equipping students with practical skills required for their professional careers and research endeavors. He encouraged the students to focus on both theoretical knowledge and experimental practice, emphasizing that the faculty has immense potential to contribute to cutting-edge research addressing national and international challenges in health, environment, and industry. While conversing with the faculty members, he praised their efforts in maintaining high academic standards and contributing to the university’s vision of excellence in science and technology. He assured the university administration’s full support in strengthening laboratory facilities, research collaborations, and professional development opportunities for both faculty and students. The Vice Chancellor also commended the faculty’s role in producing graduates who are not only academically competent but also capable of contributing meaningfully to society. He reiterated the university’s mission to provide quality higher education at the doorstep of local communities while also maintaining a global outlook.

وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے فیکلٹی آف کیمیکل اینڈ بائیولوجیکل سائنسز کا دورہ کیا۔ دورے کے دوران، وائس چانسلر نے جاری تعلیمی اور تحقیقی سرگرمیوں کا مشاہدہ کیا، جس میں کلاس روم میں تدریسی اور عملی لیبارٹری کا کام شامل ہے۔ انہوں نے فیکلٹی ممبران اور طلباء کے ساتھ بات چیت کی، کیمسٹری، بائیولوجی، بائیو ٹیکنالوجی اور متعلقہ شعبوں میں تدریس، سیکھنے، اور اختراع کے تئیں ان کے عزم کو سراہا۔ وائس چانسلر نے جدید لیبارٹریوں کی اہمیت پر روشنی ڈالی اور طلباء کو ان کے پیشہ ورانہ کیریئر اور تحقیقی کوششوں کے لیے درکار عملی مہارتوں سے آراستہ کرنے کے لیے ہینڈ آن ٹریننگ کی۔ انہوں نے طلباء کو نظریاتی علم اور تجرباتی مشق دونوں پر توجہ مرکوز کرنے کی ترغیب دی، اس بات پر زور دیتے ہوئے کہ فیکلٹی صحت، ماحولیات اور صنعت میں قومی اور بین الاقوامی چیلنجوں سے نمٹنے کے لیے جدید تحقیق میں حصہ ڈالنے کی بے پناہ صلاحیت رکھتی ہے۔ فیکلٹی ممبران سے بات چیت کرتے ہوئے، انہوں نے اعلیٰ تعلیمی معیار کو برقرار رکھنے اور یونیورسٹی کے سائنس اور ٹیکنالوجی میں بہترین کارکردگی کے وژن میں تعاون کرنے میں ان کی کوششوں کی تعریف کی۔ انہوں نے لیبارٹری کی سہولیات، تحقیقی تعاون اور فیکلٹی اور طلباء دونوں کے لیے پیشہ ورانہ ترقی کے مواقع کو مضبوط بنانے میں یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ کے مکمل تعاون کا یقین دلایا۔ وائس چانسلر نے ایسے گریجویٹس تیار کرنے میں فیکلٹی کے کردار کی بھی تعریف کی جو نہ صرف تعلیمی لحاظ سے قابل ہیں بلکہ معاشرے میں بامعنی کردار ادا کرنے کی بھی صلاحیت رکھتے ہیں۔ انہوں نے عالمی نقطہ نظر کو برقرار رکھتے ہوئے مقامی کمیونٹیز کی دہلیز پر معیاری اعلیٰ تعلیم فراہم کرنے کے یونیورسٹی کے مشن کو دہرایا۔
