Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, has been assigned the additional charge of the Vice Chancellor post at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan, for a period of six months or until a regular appointment is made, whichever comes first.
Press Note — Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, has been assigned the additional charge of the Vice Chancellor post at Khwaja Fareed University of Engineering and Information Technology (KFUEIT), Rahim Yar Khan, for a period of six months or until a regular appointment is made, whichever comes first. This appointment follows the Punjab Higher Education Department's official notification regarding the acceptance of the resignation tendered by the former Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Amir Azam Khan, effective from October 5, 2026.
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was established in the year 1975 by upgrading historical institute of the Jamia Abbasia.
