The two-day International Quran Conference organized by the Department of Quranic Studies, Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has concluded. In his message to the participants of the conference, Vice Chancellor of Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, said that guidance from Quranic teachings is the most important requirement of the time to address the national and global challenges faced in the present era. He said that the visit of national and foreign delegates to Jamia Islamia and their active participation in organizing this conference is welcome for the educational and social circles of the entire region. Addressing the concluding session, Dean Faculty of Islamic and Arabic Studies, Professor Dr. Sheikh Shafiq ur Rehman said that organizing a conference on this important topic by this department is a clear proof of the selfless dedication of our teachers and researchers to promote and disseminate Islamic teachings. The Holy Quran provides spiritual guidance as well as intellectual and scientific guidance. The chief organizer of the conference, Professor Dr. Zia-ur-Rehman, thanked the national and foreign delegates participating in the conference. He thanked the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran and the administrative officers for their special interest and cooperation in organizing the conference. In the two-day conference, 200 scholars from Turkey, Malaysia, Jordan, Indonesia, Egypt, Britain, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan presented 175 papers.

بہاولپور (پ ر) شعبہ قرآنک اسٹڈیز فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عربیک اسٹڈیز اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کے زیر اہتمام دو روزہ بین الاقوامی قرآن کانفرنس اختتام پذیر ہو گئی۔ کانفرنس کے شرکاء کے نام وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے اپنے پیغام میں کہا کہ دور حاضر میں درپیش قومی اور عالمی چیلنجز کو نمٹنے کے لیے قرآنی تعلیمات سے رہنمائی وقت کا اہم ترین تقاضا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ موضوع کے اعتبار سے اس کانفرنس کا انعقاد ملکی اور غیر ملکی مندوبین کی جامعہ اسلامیہ آمد اور فعال شرکت پورے خطے کی تعلیمی اور سماجی حلقوں کے لیے خوش آئند ہے۔ اختتامی سیشن سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ڈین فیکلٹی آف اسلامک اینڈ عربیک اسٹڈیز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر شیخ شفیق الرحمن نے کہا کہ شعبہ ہذا کی جانب سے اس اہم موضوع پر کانفرنس کا انعقاد ہمارے اساتذہ اور محققین کی اسلامی تعلیمات کی فروغ اور نشر اشاعت کے لیے بے لوث لگن کا واضح ثبوت ہے۔ قرآن مجید روحانی رہنمائی فراہم کرنے کے ساتھ ساتھ فکری اور سائنسی بنیادوں پر بھی رہنمائی فراہم کرتا ہے۔ کانفرنس کے چیف آرگنائزر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر ضیاء الرحمان نے کانفرنس میں شریک ملکی اور غیر ملکی مندوبین کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے کانفرنس کے انعقاد میں خصوصی دلچسپی اور تعاون پر وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران اور انتظامی افسران کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ دو روزہ کانفرنس میں ترکیہ، ملائیشیاء، اردن، انڈونیشیا، مصر، برطانیہ، سعودی عرب اور پاکستان بھر سے 200 سکالرز نے 175 مقالہ جات پیش کیے۔
