The Islamia University of Bahawalpur achieves major advancement in Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025
The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has achieved a significant milestone in the global education landscape by improving its position in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2025. The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has moved up from the range of 1001-1500 in 2024 to 801-1000. This is a testament to the university’s reputation in teaching and research and international engagement at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The Times Higher Education Impact Rankings assess universities around the world based on their contribution to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In its 2025 edition, the ranking assessed 2526 universities from 130 countries and regions, with the rise of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur reflecting its increased commitment to sustainability, social impact, and academic excellence. The Vice Chancellor of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran, has congratulated the university community on this significant achievement. Prof. Dr. Asadullah Madani, while giving details of the ranking, said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has achieved commendable positions in several SDG categories. It has achieved positions 201–300 for SDGs 1 and 2, 301–400 for SDGs 6, 7, 14 and 15, 401–600 for SDGs 10, 11 and 12, 601–800 for SDGs 9 and 13, 801–1000 for SDGs 4, 5, 8 and 16, and 1001–1500 for SDG 3.

بہاول پور (پ ر)اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے ٹائمز ہائر ایجوکیشن امپیکٹ رینکنگ 2025 میں اپنی پوزیشن کو بہتر بناتے ہوئے عالمی تعلیمی سطح پر ایک اہم سنگ میل عبور کیا ہے۔ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور 2024 میں 1500-1001 کی رینج سے بڑھ کر 801-1000 پر پہنچ گئی ہے۔ یہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں تدریس و تحقیق اور بین الاقوامی شمولیت میں یونیورسٹی کی مقبولیت کا ثبوت ہے۔ ٹائمز ہائر ایجوکیشن امپیکٹ رینکنگ اقوام متحدہ کے پائیدار ترقی کے اہداف میں ان کے تعاون کی بنیاد پر دنیا بھر کی یونیورسٹیوں کا جائزہ لیتی ہے۔ اس کے 2025 ایڈیشن میں، درجہ بندی نے 130 ممالک اور خطوں کی 2526 یونیورسٹیوں کا جائزہ لیا، جس میں اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی پائیدارترقی، سماجی اثرات، اور تعلیمی فضیلت کے لیے اس کے بڑھتے ہوئے عزم کی عکاسی کرتی ہے۔ وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے اس اہم کامیابی پر یونیورسٹی کمیونٹی کو مبارکباد دی ہے۔ پروفیسر ڈاکٹر اسد اللہ مدنی نے رینکنگ کی تفصیلات بتاتے ہوئے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے کئی SDG کیٹیگریز میں قابل ستائش پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ SDGs 1 اور 2 کے لیے 201–300،SDGs 6، 7، 14 اور 15 کے لیے 301–400، SDGs 10، 11 اور 12 کے لیے 401–600،SDGs 9 اور 13 کے لیے 601–800،SDGs 4، 5، 8 اور 16 کے لیے 801–1000،SDG 3 کے لیے 1001– 1500پوزیشن حاصل کی ہے۔
