The Islamia University of Bahawalpur has successfully organised an awareness walk & to mark the International Day of Peace 2026 at Jinnah Corner, Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Library, Baghdad-ul-Jadeed Campus. The seminar was jointly organized by the Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution the SDGs Collaboration Centre, and IUB Social Welfare and Human Rights, the event featured insightful presentations from leading academics including Dr. Sarfraz Batool Director Usman Buzdar School of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Salman Bin Naeem Director, SDGs Centre, and Dr. Sajila Kausar Chairperson, Department of World Religions & Interfaith Harmony. Prof. Dr. Rubina Bhatti Patron SDG Centre & Dean Faculty of Social Sciences was the Chief Guest. The seminar was moderated by Dr. Ahsan Riaz Coordinator, Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution. The seminar concluded with a renewed commitment among faculty and students to actively foster tolerance, strengthen interfaith understanding, and promote a culture of peace across academic and social domains.

اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور نے بغداد الجدید کیمپس میں سر صادق محمد خان لائبریری کے جناح کارنر پرعالمی یومِ امن 2026 کے سلسلے میں ایک آگاہی واک اور سیمینار کا انعقاد کیا۔ اس سیمینار کا اہتمام مشترکہ طور پرسینٹر فار پیس اینڈ کنفلکٹ ریزولیوشن، ایس ڈی جیز (SDGs) کولائبوریشن سینٹر اور آئی یو بی سوشل ویلفیئر اینڈ ہیومن رائٹس نے کیا تھا۔ تقریب میں ممتاز ماہرینِ تعلیم نے فکر انگیز پریزنٹیشنز پیش کیں، جن میں عثمان بزدار اسکول آف سائنسز کی ڈائریکٹر ڈاکٹر سرفراز بتول، ایس ڈی جیز سینٹر کے ڈائریکٹر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر سلمان بن نعیم، اور شعبہ عالمی مذاہب و بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی کی چیئرپرسن ڈاکٹر سجیلہ کوثر شامل تھیں۔ ایس ڈی جی سینٹر کی سرپرست اور ڈین فیکلٹی آف سوشل سائنسز پروفیسر ڈاکٹر روبینہ بھٹی تقریب کی مہمانِ خصوصی تھیں۔ سیمینار کے نظامت کے فرائض سینٹر فار پیس اینڈ کنفلکٹ ریزولیوشن کے کوآرڈینیٹر ڈاکٹر احسن ریاض نے انجام دیے۔
