Independence Day 2025 celebration held in grand manner at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur

Bahawalpur (PR) A grand flag hoisting ceremony was held at Abbasia Campus in connection with the Independence Day and Centenary celebrations of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran and Prince Bahawal Abbas Khan Abbasi hoisted the flag. On this occasion, the University Security guards saluted the national flag. Addressing the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran said that 14th August is a milestone of our national existence. Pakistan is a masterpiece of Allama Iqbal’s vision and Quaid-e-Azam’s leadership. The Vice Chancellor paid tribute to the services of Mohsin Pakistan and founder of Jamia Islamia Bahawalpur Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi V for the establishment and stability of Pakistan. He said that in recent days, when the enemy attacked our borders, our forces gave the best proof of protecting not only geographical but also ideological borders. Quaid-e-Azam had said that no power in the world can destroy Pakistan. This country is built to last forever. Nawab Bahawal Abbas Khan Abbasi said in his address that Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi V actively participated in the Pakistan movement and Bahawalpur’s services for the establishment of Pakistan are unparalleled. Bahawalpur was the first state to join Pakistan. The state of Bahawalpur provided full financial as well as administrative support to the newborn state of Pakistan. He congratulated the Vice Chancellor, teachers and students on the centenary celebrations of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Nawab Bahawal Abbas Khan Abbasi said that the initiative to develop teaching and research at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur on modern lines under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor, especially to link artificial intelligence with all sciences, is very welcome. On this occasion, Nauman Farooqi, a teacher of Sadiq Public School Bahawalpur, shed detailed light on the educational, social and economic initiatives of the state of Bahawalpur and the services of Nawab Sir Sadiq Muhammad Khan Abbasi V. Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran presented a commemorative shield to Nawab Bahawalpur Abbas Khan Abbasi. On this occasion, on behalf of the Estate Care Department, the Vice Chancellor and Nawab Bahawal Abbas Khan Abbasi distributed saplings for the tree plantation campaign among the students. The Vice Chancellor and Prince Bahawal Abbas Khan Abbasi launched a tree plantation campaign at Islamia University Bahawalpur on behalf of Habib Bank Limited. The Vice Chancellor also distributed gifts given by the Saylani Welfare Organization to the university employees.

بہاولپور (پ ر) معرکہ حق جشن آزادی اور اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی صد سالہ تقریبات کے سلسلے میں پرچم کشائی کی پروقار تقریب عباسیہ کیمپس میں منعقد ہوئی۔ وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران اور پرنس بہاول عباس خان عباسی نے پرچم کشائی کی۔ اس موقع پر  یونیورسٹی سیکورٹی کے دستے نے قومی پرچم کو سلامی پیش کی۔ تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے کہا کہ 14 اگست ہمارے قومی وجود کا سنگ میل ہے۔ پاکستان علامہ اقبال کی بصیرت اور قائد اعظم کی قیادت کا شاہکار ہے۔ وائس چانسلر نے محسن پاکستان و بانی جامعہ اسلامیہ بہاولپور نواب سر صادق محمد خان عباسی پنجم کی قیام پاکستان اور استحکام پاکستان کے لیے خدمات کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حالیہ دنوں میں دشمن نے ہماری سرحدوں پر جارحیت کی تو ہماری افواج نے نہ صرف جغرافیائی بلکہ نظریاتی سرحدوں کی حفاظت کا بہترین ثبوت دیا۔ قائد اعظم نے فرمایا تھا کہ دنیا کی کوئی طاقت پاکستان کو ختم نہیں کرسکتی۔ یہ ملک ہمیشہ قائم رہنے کے لیے بنا ہے۔ نواب بہاول عباس خان عباسی نے اپنے خطاب میں کہا کہ نواب سرصادق محمد خان عباسی پنجم نے تحریک پاکستان میں بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لیا اور قیام پاکستان کے لیے بہاولپور کی خدمات بے مثال ہیں۔ بہاولپور پہلی ریاست تھی جو پاکستان میں شامل ہوئی۔ ریاست بہاولپور نے نوزائیدہ مملکت پاکستان کو بھرپور مالی امداد کے ساتھ ساتھ انتظامی طور پر بھی مدد کی۔ انہوں نے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کی سو سالہ تقریبات پر وائس چانسلر، اساتذہ اور طلباوطالبات کو مبارکباد دی۔ نواب بہاول عباس خان عباسی نے کہا کہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں وائس چانسلر کی زیر قیادت تدریس و تحقیق کو جدید خطوط پر استوار کرنے خصوصا آرٹیفیشل انٹیلیجنس کو تمام علوم سے منسلک کرنے کا اقدام بہت خوش آئند ہے۔ اس موقع پر صادق پبلک سکول بہاولپور کے استاد نعمان فاروقی نے ریاست بہاولپور کے تعلیمی، سماجی اور معاشی اقدامات اور نواب سر صادق محمد خان عباسی پنجم کی خدمات پر تفصیلی روشنی ڈالی۔ وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے نواب بہاولپور عباس خان عباسی کو یادگاری شیلڈ پیش کی۔ اس موقع پر جشن آزادی کے سلسلے میں شعبہ اسٹیٹ کیئر کی جانب سے وائس چانسلر اور نواب بہاول عباس خان عباسی نے طلباء وطالبات میں شجر کاری مہم کے پودے تقسیم کیے۔ وائس چانسلر اور پرنس بہاول عباس خان عباسی نے حبیب بنک لمیٹڈ کی جانب سے اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں شجرکاری مہم کا آغاز کیا۔ وائس چانسلر نے سیلانی ویلفیئر آرگنائزیشن کی جانب سے یونیورسٹی ملازمین کے لیے دئیے گئے تحائف بھی تقسیم کیے۔
