Day 01: Two-day training workshop on outcome-based education framework has begun under the auspices of the QEC, IUB

A two-day training workshop on outcome-based education framework has begun under the auspices of the Quality Enhancement Cell of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur aiming to bring educational standards to the international level. The objective of this activity is to implement and apply international quality education in the university. On the first day, Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Kamran delivered two lectures and compared the outcome-based educational programs and traditional teaching. He discussed in detail the purposeful teaching methodology according to the standards of the Higher Education Commission and global trends. In his second lecture, Professor Dr Muhammad Kamran expressed his views on modern trends in teaching and learning, which provide students with clear and result-oriented sustainable education. In the third session, Engineer Dr Shahab Ahmed Niazi, Chairman of the Department of Electronics Engineering, gave a lecture on Bloom's Taxonomy and outcome-based education. Director Quality Enhancement Cell, Professor Dr Muhammad Asadullah Madani, said that the aim of this activity, organised on the direction of the Vice Chancellor, is to acquaint all deans and heads of teaching departments about modern teaching methods and trends at the beginning of the academic session to ensure quality teaching at the campus.

بہاولپور (پ ر) اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور میں تعلیمی معیار کو عالمی سطح پر لانے کے لیے کوالٹی انہاسمنٹ سیل کے زیر اہتمام واضح مقاصد اور نتیجہ خیز تعلیمی پروگرام ( آوٹ کم بیسڈ ایجوکیشن فریم ورک ) کے موضوع پر دو روزہ تربیتی ورکشاپ کا آغاز ہوگیا۔ وائس چانسلر اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران کے ویژن کے مطابق منعقد کی گئی اس سرگرمی کا مقصد جامعہ میں انٹرنیشنل کوالٹی ایجوکیشن کا نفاذ و اطلاق ہے۔ پہلے روز وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے دو لیکچر دیئے اور نتائج وسط مقاصد پر مبنی تعلیمی پروگرام اور روایتی تدریس کا موازنہ کیا۔ انہوں نے ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کے معیارات اور عالمی رجحانات کے مطابق بامقصد طریقہ تدریس پر تفصیلی گفتگو کی۔ اپنے دوسرے لیکچر میں پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد کامران نے درس و تدریس کے جدید رجحانات پر اظہارخیال کیا جن کا مقصد طلباءوطالبات کو واضح اور نتائج پر مبنی دیرپا تعلیم دینا ہے۔ تیسری نشست میں انجینئر ڈاکٹر شہاب احمد نیازی چیئرمین شعبہ الیکٹرونکس انجینئرنگ نے بلوم ٹیکسانومی اور آوٹ کم بیسڈ ایجوکیشن پر لیکچر دیا۔ ڈائریکٹر کوالٹی انہاسمنٹ سیل پروفیسر ڈاکٹر محمد اسداللہ مدنی نے کہا کہ وائس چانسلر کی ہدایت پر منعقد کی گئی اس سرگرمی کا مقصد تعلیمی سیشن کے آغاز پر تمام ڈینز اور تدریسی شعبہ جات کے سربراہان کو تدریس کے جدید طریقہ کار سے آگاہ کرنا ہے تاکہ اسلامیہ یونیورسٹی بہاولپور کا تدریسی نظام جدید رجحانات کے مطابق تشکیل پاسکے اور طلباء وطالبات اعلی معیاری تعلیم سے مستفید ہو سکیں۔
