Department of Education has set its pace to produce qualified teachers, administrators, planners, curriculum developers and educational researchers to bring about change in the society through education.Currently, the department of Education offers different Teacher Education Programs including BS Education, BS Secondary Education, and MPhil and PhD. These programmes are accredited by the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE). These programs have been designed to enhance confidence among prospective teachers by grooming their personalities. The department has its state-of-the-art building having facilities of class rooms, equipped with multimedia, multipurpose hall and postgraduate computer labs. It is pertinent to mention that department has so far produced more than 50 PhDs and 400 MPhil graduates along with hundreds of graduates.
