Anthropology is a useful and effective subject. Its importance in employment and personality building is twofold. This universal subject is taught at the college and university level. Europe, America and developed countries of the world have the same excellent opportunities relevant to this discipline. This was started in Pakistan from Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad. Realizing its importance and need, its education has been going on for the past several years in the great educational institution of South Punjab, The Islamia University, Bahawalpur. The faculty consists of highly qualified male and female teachers. It has a vibrant faculty who have a wide range of teaching and research experience. Scheme of Study designed for a Four-Year integrated BS (Hons) in Anthropology offers a wide range of courses that will enable the students to determine their areas of interest and conduct field-based research. To improve the quality of education the discipline of Anthropology is going to collaborate with International schools and universities to help their student get fellowships, apprenticeships, and internships. The  Anthropology Department at IUB will soon start MPhil and Ph.D. Programs so that the scope of teaching and research could further expand. Admissions are ongoing with the best benefits incentives, and facilities.
