Dr. Zia ur Rehman is serving as Chairman in the Department of Qur’ānic Studies at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan. He did PhD from University of the Punjab, Lahore in the subject of Qur’ān & Tafseer. He has over 16 years of National Universities & Colleges teaching, research and Community development experience. He visited renowned Universities of the world (USA, Australia, Malaysia, KSA and Sri Lanka) and presented 28 Research Papers in International and National Conferences, 37 HEC approved National and International research publications are on his credit. 5 PhD Scholars and 35 MPhil Scholars have completed their thesis under his supervision and got degrees. His research area includes; Tafseer (Qur’ān Exegeses) and Seerah.
