General Terms and Conditions:

1.    The Firms should quote best & Final Rates
2.     Tender documents can be down loaded from the Islamia University of Bahawalpur website www.iub.edu.pk. The tender documents fee will be charged from the vendors at the time of opening of tenders.
3.     Please attach CDR in favour of the Treasurer the Islamia University of Bahawalpur @ 2 % of the quoted price as earnest money (No cheque will be entertained) Tender will not be accepted without CDR and Tender Fee Rs. 1000/- (One Thousand Rupees)
4.     Tender should be reached in the office of the Treasurer, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur up to Monday, 24th September 2012 by 11:00 A.M. Tenders will be opened on the same day in the presence of bidders or their representatives.
5.     Validity of offered price should be minimum for 90 days from the date of opening of tender.
6.     All bids submitted after the prescribed date & time, shall be rejected and returned un-opened.
7.     Taxes will be applicable as per Govt. Rules & Regulations.
8.     The Competent Authority reserves the rights to accept or reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason.

Purchase of Paper

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Delivery and completion of paper supply within 15 days after issue of supply order. CDR & Security deposit will be forfeited in case of failure beyond 15 days time limit. The CDR @ 2% of the total value in the name of Treasurer, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, must be attached with the tender. The tender shall not be accepted without CDR. Tender rates should be inclusive of sales Tax. Incomplete & conditional tenders will not be considered. Quantity of any item can be modified. Tender rates will be valid for 90 days. The firm should be registered with the university. However, unregistered firms may participate by sending DD of Rs. 1000/- as registration fee in favour of Treasurer, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Undertaking on the company that firm is not blacklisted by any government department may also be furnished. The tender should reach the undersigned on or before Monday, 24th September 2012 up to 11.00 A.M. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 11.30 A.M in the office of the Treasurer, Abbasia Campus, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, in the presence of the bidders. The tenders received after due date & time will not be accepted. In case of any dispute, the matter will be dealt with as per University/Government Purchase Rules. The signed agreement of total value of supply order @ Rs.0.25% will be borne / paid by the Vendor.
