Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has said that academic performance of University Public School has been very excellent, imparting quality education for the last 35 years. This school will be equipped with latest teaching methodology and learning facilities. He expressed these remarks during visit of University Public School situated in the walled city of Bahawalpur. The Vice Chancellor added that he has been impressed with talent of students and their knowledge about the latest inventions and advancement of science and technology. Owing to available facilities of computer and science laboratories, the awareness of students about the field of information technology is worth notable. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar said that the university will request Secretary Higher Education, Government of Punjab for a special grant to this historic institution. The Vice Chancellor also inquired about the issues faced by the staff and students and directed to address them at the earliest. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar also visited Quran Academy established in the school and was greatly inspired by the deep interest of students in seeking Quranic education and Husan-e-Qira’at. He also presented a gift of 25 copies of the Holy Quran for the academy. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar also announced the provision of an electric water cooler and special financial grant to meet immediate requirements. The Vice Chancellor also expressed satisfaction over the performance of students in Middle and Secondary sections. |
