Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has said that university administration under his directives, is striving to solve problems of low wage employees and positive results will be yielded from the steps taken in this regard and recent promotion of a group of such employees  is evident to this. The Vice Chancellor was addressing the reception hosted by recently promoted employees of transport department as chief guest. Prof Dr Muhammad Mukhtar said that university administration is following the program of enhancing perks and privileges for hardworking employees and all those whose promotions have been delayed will get their due right soon which will provide them mental and financial ease and thus boost up their performance. He further said that university is taking many fruitful steps for financial stability and the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is one of the universities who have resources to overcome financial crunches. The Vice Chancellor was of the opinion that the prestige of a human being should not be valued by his financial status because in modern time only those societies have excelled in the world who have given preference to humanity and that is why he believes that following golden teachings of Islam, we must give respect to all, be it senior or junior. While congratulating promoted employees, he hopefully said that after getting promotion, the employees will strive harder to get to the next level and perform their duties more efficiently. Earlier, Principal Transport Officer, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Arshad Ch expressed gratitude to the Vice Chancellor and said that promotions of low wage employees will improve confidence of employees and hence they will play their vital role in progress of the university by working hard. On this occasion, Dean Faculty of Science, Prof. Dr. Sheikh Aftab Ahmad, Dean Faculty of Arts, Prof. Dr. Razia Musarat, Registrar, Muhammad Muneer Rahmani and other senior officials were also present.
