Punjab Educational Endowment Fund (PEEF) has announced 270 academic scholarships for the students of Master’s programme of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur for the academic session 2011-12. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has expressed special gratitude to the Chief Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Provincial Education Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman for their benevolence to the students of this region. Under this programme the PEEF will grant 159 scholarships in science disciplines and 111 in arts discipline in the current academic session. All those students who are Punjab domiciled with 60% or 2.5 CGPA in graduation are eligible to apply for these scholarships. The Vice Chancellor has lauded the role of Technical Staff Officer Dr. Tanvir Hussain and Deputy Registrar Academic Mr. Imtiaz Ali Sukhera for their special efforts in this regard. |
