Bahawalpur (               ) The Department of Pharmacy, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) in collaboration with Shoukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Center, Lahore (SKMCH&RC) is organizing a two day training workshop on “Improving Clinical Pharmacy Practices in Pakistan” at Abbasia Campus. Practicing Pharmacists from all over the country are participating in the event. During inaugural session, Prof. Dr. Mehmood Ahmed, Dean Faculty of Pharmacy, IUB welcomed the participants on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar and said that Faculty of Pharmacy is renowned all over the country due to experienced faculty and state of the art laboratories. Chief Pharmacist, SKMCH&RC, Dr. Tahir Aziz Mughal and other speakers briefed the participants about challenges for Clinical Pharmacy and disease state management. Later on, Prof. Dr. Naveed Akhtar chaired the technical session participated by Pharmacists Maqsood Khan, Omar Akhlaq Bhutta, Sidra Adleeb and workshop organizer Muhammad Akhtar.
