Bahawalpur : ( ) A high level meeting presided over by the Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar decided to extend the admission date of undergraduate and master programmes up till 29th September 2011. The meeting was attended by deans, principals of constituent colleges and heads of academic departments. Now the first merit list of the candidates accorded admission will be displayed for the morning classes on 3rd October 2011 and similarly for the evening classes on 14th October 2011 on the notice boards of the relevant departments and IUB website www.iub.edu.pk. The admission schedule of M.Phil and Ph.D was also approved, M.Phil admission will be offered in the subjects of Agriculture, Arabic, Biochemistry & Biotechnology, Clinical Psychology, Computer Sciences (weekend program), M.Sc Engineering, History, LLM, Library & Information Science, Media Studies, Pakistan Studies, Persian, Urdu & Iqbaliat. While Ph.D admissions will be offered in the subjects of Arabic, Chemistry, History, Media Studies, Physics and Urdu & Iqbaliat. The university wil also offer M.Phil admissions through distance education. The meeting condoled the death of Director IT Muhammad Ishtiaq, his brother and father in a fatal traffic accident, mother of treasurer Mr. Muhammad Asim Khan and father of a university employee Muhammad Ashfaq and offered fateha for the grant of eternal peace to the departed souls. |
