Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has appreciated the contribution of Prof. Dr. Mamuna Ghani, Chairperson Department of English on performing a leading role in developing and designing various English language teaching and learning modules of international level for both teachers and learners of English in Pakistan. Here, it is worth mentioning that these modules are an outcome of Transforming English Language Skills (TELS) programme jointly organized by the English Language Teaching Reforms (ELTR) division of the Higher Education Commission and British Council Pakistan through developing collaboration among t experts from the Open University UK and six universities in Pakistan. On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor termed these modules published in form of six books as a global resource and emphasized upon universities and experts all over Pakistan to utilize these modules for effective teaching and learning of English. |
