Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) and Chairperson, Inter University Consortium for Promotion of Social Sciences (IUCPSS) has said that promotion of tourism industry in Pakistan can play a vital role in national image building as well as revival of the economy. Tourists from all over the world can be attracted to beautiful Pakistan to assist the country both socially and economically at international level. IUCPSS and Tourism Development Corporation Punjab (TDCP) are signing a historic MoU tomorrow in Lahore. Both the organizations will join hands together to promote tourism and hospitality industry, will benefit from each others expertise and facilities and organize joint conferences and seminars. Members of parliament, Vice Chancellors, senior academicians, members of civil society and media will attend this MoU singing ceremony in large number. This agreement will bring far reaching results in promotion of hotel and tourism industry in Pakistan. |
