The Vice Chancellor,
the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof. Dr. Muhammad
Mukhtar has highlighted the need to develop mutual collaboration
among higher education institutes for improving the
standard of education. Students should be given quality
education in schools to achieve better results in higher
education and research. Maximum level of coordination
and liaison among the teachers of universities, colleges
and schools for standardized curriculum is required
for this purpose. Vice Chancellor expressed his views
at the occasion of visit of the Chairman Board of Intermediate
and Secondary Education Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Mukhtar
Ali and Chairman Multan Board, Dr. Muhammad Bashir to
the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Vice Chancellor
said that the Islamia University of Bahawalpur is planning
to initiate short courses for the students of matriculation
and intermediate during summer vacations. He also assured
complete support and cooperation from the IUB to both
the Education Boards to enable better results by mutual
planning in terms of curriculum, examination, teaching
methodologies and other related activities so that quality
of education can be aligned with that of developed nations. |
