The 55th meeting of the Board of Advanced Studies and Research of the Islamia University of Bahawalpur was held under the chair of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor. He directed that PhD modules of developed countries should be studied to enhance research standards at IUB. The meeting discussed implementation report of decisions taken during the previous meeting. The board also considered policy matter regarding transfer of credits for US Educational Foundation scholarship awardees. Appointments of co-supervisors for PhD research in various subjects were also approved. The house also approved topics of dissertations and appointments of supervisors for PhD programs. The meeting was participated by Director, Board of Advanced Studies & Research, Rao Muhammad Afzal Khan and other senior faculty members. |
