Prof. Dr. Qaiser Mushtaq, Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur has said that Prime Minister’s National ICT Scholarships Program is very beneficial and supportive for intelligent and deserving students.  The Islamia University of Bahawalpur is a partner university in this program benefiting from the scheme since 2010.  This program is also helpful to promote education of information communication technology in the country by providing scholarships to young talented students. The Vice Chancellor hoped that federal government will continue this educational friendly program in the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. It is important to mention here that National ICT R&D fund, Minister of Information Technology, Government of Pakistan is funding this scholarship scheme for undergraduate students which covers admission and tuition fee, boarding and lodging, books and food allowances and other stipend.
