On special direction of the Vice Chancellor, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar the university Flood Relief Cell has distributed food items and medicines worth Rs. 100,000/- among flood affectees of district Rahim Yar Khan. Mobile Medical Unit of the IUB alongwith visiting Germen Scholar Hartmut Wellerdt and Campus Director Rahim Yar Khan visited flood affected area of Dera Mushir, Rajanpur Kala, District Rahim Yar Khan yesterday. The medial team provided medical assistance to 450 patients including women, children and old age persons. German Scholar Hartmut Wellerdt who is visiting IUB to in flood relief activities interacted with flood victims and asked about their problems. Representatives of district government Rahim Yar Khan were also present on the occasion. The university team also distributed food items and Eid gifts among flood affected women and children on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, IUB.
