A Vice Chancellor's Secretariat is also functioning in the IUB to extend multiple services to the public, students, faculty members and employees of the University. As it is under the direct supervision of the Vice Chancellor, it has to form policy matters of the IUB and monitor the implementation of the same. It also manages, correspondence with Higher Education Commission, Government of the Punjab and other Public and Private Universities/Institutions to improve University's working relationship.

Public Relations Office

Educational institutions, no matter how reputable they may be, require publicity to enhance their visibility and create an impact on wider sections of society. Modern universities now face the challenges of increased numbers and raised stake holders expectations.

Public Relations Office is located in Vice Chancellor's Secretariat. The main functions of this office are covering, drafting and transmitting information before publication dead-lines, preparing and releasing admissions and recruitment advertisements, tender notices to newspapers. Hospitality management, protocol duties and event management is another function of Public Relations Office which includes arrangements for national and international conferences, seminars, workshops, job fairs, expos and convocation etc. This office also publishes quarterly news letter “IUB-Pulse”, which is very popular among students and faculty members.
