One day workshop on "Skills for developing Quality Proposal" held on November 27, 2007 at Department of Education, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. Mr. Sakil Malik, Sr. Project Officer, International Development Division of IRA (USA) facilitated the participants as keynote speaker. Faculty members of the Department of Education, Educational Training, Social Work, Physical Education and Psychology, participated in the workshop.
Mr. Sakil Malik, explained different types of short and long projects in details and their implementation in different situations. He took the views of those participants who have conducted different projects in their fields then he assigned the participants a task to prepare a short term project proposal and discussed each proposal later on.
At the end of the session a certificate distribution ceremony was conducted. Mr Sakil Malik, Prof. Aslam Adeeb, Dean Faculty of Education and Prof. Harold Husemann, University of Osnabruck, Germany, distributed certificates among participants. Prof.Aslam Adeeb thanked Mr. Sakil Malik to share his knowledge and expertise with faculty members.
