Two-day workshop under School Leadership Development Programme started on 13-06-2007 at the Department of Education, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur. The title of the workshop is 'Development Learning for Schools'. This workshop is jointly organized by The Department of Education and Pakistan Rural Worker's Social Welfare Organization (PRWSWO), Bahawalpur with the financial support of Punjab Education Foundation (PEF). Prof. Dr. M.A. Adeeb, The Dean Faculty of Education is the coordinator of the Programme. Twenty teachers from various private schools of Bahawalpur are participating in the workshop. The workshop will cover some important aspects of students' learning and school development. It will include sessions on Students' Evaluation Methods, Maintaining School Records, Children Learning at different ages, Concept and Application of Multiple Intelligence and Importance and Methodology of using Teaching Aids. This workshop will contribute to professional development of teachers working in private sector. By organizing such workshops, the Department of Education is playing its role efficiently for teachers' development in the area.
